Everytime i have to listen to a fucking protagonist/antagonist talk about their dead wife/ kid i just straight up think “wow wish i was playing new vegas where characters have like. Fucking. actual reasons for doing their bull shit.” Like could you imagine if thats how they wrote fnv? Benny would have a wife who died when vegas was being taken over by House or some shit, and now he wants revenge instead of him wanting to take house’s place because he genuinely thinks he could do it better and has ties/history with the families. Caesar would have a dead wife and kid and make it sound like thats why be does everything he does, and we’re supposed to empathize. Joshua would have a dead wife and kid. Ect. Im just so. Done.
